Mangekyō Sharingan Patterns. Are They Jutsu Specific or Unique to Each User?

Since the release of the latest chapter (599) I've been stumped as to how Tobi can have the same pattern as Kakashi without the eye originally belonging to Obito. (Note: I don't believe Tobi is Obito or that he has Obitos' Sharingan. Although the latter may be possible, I still think Tobi was bsing Kakashi to throw him off.) As well as tie in with my theory of Tobi being TES. Anyway, it's just a thought that I wanted to share so bear with me please.

To start, here are the MS users with their known dominant jutsu and it's classification under Genjutsu or Ninjutsu... 

Itachi - Tsukiyomi - Genjutsu 

Sasuke - Amaterasu - Ninjutsu

Kakashi - Kamui - Ninjutsu

Tobi - Kamui - Ninjutsu

Shisui - Kotoamatsukami - Genjutsu (Note: It's safe to assume Kotoamatsukami is Shisuis' dominant MS jutsu.)

What I propose is that each MS design is unique to a particular MS jutsu and each dominant MS jutsu the user receives depends on their fighting style as their Sharingans mature before awakening it. (Using Genjutsu over Ninjutsu would result in a MS level Genjutsu being dominant and vice versa.)

Like Itachi for example, Tsukiyomi, a Genjutsu, was his dominant and Amaterasu, a Ninjutsu, was his secondary. Itachi was apparently more proficient with Genjutsu over Ninjutsu. 

With Sasuke...Amaterasu, a Ninjutsu, as his dominant jutsu. His Genjutsu skills isn't up to MS standards or level as of yet.

I don't think Amaterasu would have been his "dominant jutsu" or an ability for him to use if not for Itachi planting it on him.* (chp 397 pgs 8-9, 11) The activation of Amaterasu and the appearance of Itachi's MS may have altered what would have been his dominant (Ninjutsu) tech and possibly the pattern. It'd be nice if he actually awakens a secondary like the jutsu Madara was shown using in this video.

*Neither Sasuke (Tsukuyomi) or Itachi (Amaterasu) has mastered both of their MS jutsu, yet they both can use Susano'o.

Now Kakashi and Tobi... 

Kakashi is (of course) proficient in Ninjutsu over Genjutsu, yet I think his ability to use Kamui is more related to him being a non Uchiha. Which would also mean that Obito would have had a different MS pattern and jutsu.

Tobi... For those who don't know (looks under avatar) I believe Tobi is The Elder Son. I also think the issues with continued use of MS jutsus leading to blindness is a result of The Younger Son sealing or limiting some of the Mangekyō Sharingan powers The Elder Son could utilize and his descendants (Uchiha) as well. That action (which could also be considered a "curse") would limit the actual powers a Uchiha could (potentially) have (or gain), set conditions to obtain MS and consequences for continued use of the MS as well as the use of a restricted jutsu. 

The tricky part with this (for me) is the differing MS patterns of The Elder Son and the one Tobi and Kakashi has shown. Only because I associate both with Kamui. The whirlpool effect of Tobis' Kamui resembles that of The Elder Sons' MS pattern and leads me to think they are related in some way. 

Now the only thing that seems to fit is that the MS pattern of TES may represent his mastery or ability to use all MS jutsu. Then the MS pattern Kakashi and Tobi share would represent Kamui.

Tobi having a non Uchiha body (one consisting of Senju DNA) could circumvent certain restrictions placed on the Sharingan. Tobi being the Elder Son would also allow him to utilize at least one of his own MS abilities (Kamui) from any Sharingan. (Tobis' use of Kamui with a basic Sharingan leads me to think that)

Bottom line...

Tobi (TES) is able to use Kamui because his current body consists of Senju DNA and being the ancestor of the Uchiha would further allow him to use it without activating MS.

Tobi and Kakashi sharing the same MS pattern would be due to that pattern being unique to Kamui.

Who is Tobi and Who is in the 6th Coffin?

I read a post sometime ago that gave me the idea that Tobi may really be The Elder Son. I went thru 90% of the manga and anime for any clues, similar situations, history of key techs and people. There is nothing directly pointing in that direction(yet), but, I did see that it is possible with what little I found.

Prediction:
Tobi is The Elder Son(TES)/Madara's body is in the 6th coffin.


To get to Tobi's identity... Process of elimination.

6th Coffin Candidates

1. Shizui, Izuna, anyone else you may think of.
They are all too weak to elicit a sign of weakness (surprise/fear) from Tobi. (Chapter 490 pg.4)
Despite any possible power-ups gained when summoned, there is no evidence of them gaining new abilities that could counter Tobi's current skill set.

2. Hokages 1-4
Unavailable due to souls being sealed by way of Shiki Fuujin. (Hokages 1-3 Chapter 124 pgs. 6-7; 4th Hokage Chapter 503-504)

3. So6P or The Younger Son
Possible, but, either one could defeat Tobi with their known skill set.

4. Madara
Most likely to elicit a sign of weakness in Tobi. Since Tobi is claiming to be him.

Tobi =

1. Madara
Possible, but, unlikely due to Tobi not having access to EMS. Outside of Izanagi he only has at least two Sharingan related jutsus... an advanced form of Kamui and genjutsu.
Madara was portrayed as one who valued his lifestyle as a weapon and sought to be the best weapon at any cost. (Hence the numerous battles leading up to the last one.) His eyes were never opened to the big picture before that battle.

2. Anyone else -
No reason to be worried about who is in the 6th coffin. Tobi's skill set is far greater.(other than So6P and his sons)See also 6th Coffin #1 (Note: Shisui is TOO young to be Tobi.)

3. The Elder Son
His intentions may be vague for attacking his brother, but simple to figure out. Losing to his brother he failed at one thing... Getting a sample from the original Senju. The Elder Son wanted the powers and abilities of his brother to become So6P. He believes they "belonged" to him and should have been given to him. Unlike Madara he saw the big picture about the world. His view of peace was power... to control the world. (Tobi's intentions mirrors The Elder Son's exactly.)

(As many times as Madara and The First fought not once did he get a(DNA)sample. But, the last battle was revealed to be a ruse just to get a(DNA)sample.)
